Vancouver Housing Prices
Vancouver's detached housing prices have come down approximately 10-15 % since April 0f 2008 to present. This is misleading though, because certain areas of Vancouver the prices have come down more then others. For example prices of detached homes Kitsilano have only come down an estimated 5-10%. I think this is a matter of supply and demand. Kitslilano only has 38 currently listed homes, while Kerrisdale has 55. Many people think that the a combination of all time low interest rates and a long layoff without much sales activity will send the Vancouver Spring real estate market back into a sales frenzy. Sales increased 94% in Vancouver from January to February. March is off to a great start personally, with 6 sales already. I look forward to a succesful Spring and Summer ahead, doing what I love for a living.
